True Fact: A voice being broadcast over the radio will be heard thirteen thousand miles away sooner than it will be heard at the back of the room from which it is broadcast. This is because radio waves travel much faster than normal sound waves. FYI, 13,000 miles is equivalent to the distance between Los Angeles and Rome...AND BACK. Awesome!
